Stopping the Epidemic is a workshop for high school youth and adults for awareness and prevention of pornography use.  Based on current research and church teaching, this talk will expose adults and youth to the potential danger of pornography use and addiction, as well as recovery techniques and support systems.

Strengthening Families

The Strengthening Families Program: For Parents & Youth 10-14 has made a difference in thousands of families in all 50 states and in over 25 countries.

Parents want to protect their children, but it’s challenging. Youth need skills to help them resist the peer pressure that leads to risky behaviors. Research shows that protective parenting improves family relationships and decreases the level of family conflict, contributing to lower level of substance use.

Lakota Circles of Hope

Lakota Circles of Hope (LCH) is an innovative culturally specific prevention curriculum that teaches students how to use their culture to deal more effectively with risky behaviors such as drugs, alcohol, tobacco usage, bullying, and suicide. The curriculum is intended to foster a positive Lakota identity and enhance students understanding of Lakota culture. Train the Trainers Training will provide schools an opportunity to be trained by LCH-Training Coaches. Each School District will be trained on how to use and implement the Lakota Circles of Hope Curriculum in their schools.
