Common Sense Parenting
Common Sense Parenting (CSP) is a free group-based class for parents comprised of 6 weekly, 2-hour sessions led by a credentialed trainer who focuses on teaching practical skills to increase children’s positive behavior, decrease negative behavior, and model appropriate alternative behavior. Each class is formatted to include a review of the prior session, instruction of the new skill, modeled examples, skill practice/feedback, and a summary.

Registration for Common Sense Parenting requires a couple of steps.
- Fill out the form at the bottom of this page for Catholic Social Services (CSS)
- Download, print, and fill out the following Life, Inc. applications. If you are unable to print, use the contact form at the bottom of this page and CSS can mail you a copy for free. This form will need to be returned to CSS or brought to the first Common Sense Parenting class that you attend. If you do not have children that require childcare, you need not fill out the childcare application.
